Managing A Busy Schedule

If you want to succeed in the long term with your workouts and diet plan, time management is important.

There's no doubt that you have a busy lifestyle - almost every single one of us these days feels like we have a never ending "to-do" list, but this does not mean you should excuse yourself from your regular workouts.

Remember, working out is going to give you the energy to get through all your daily tasks, so it needs to be a priority. At the start of every week I would suggest sitting down with a day planner and figuring out all the main tasks you have to complete for the week. Schedule those workouts along with your other tasks. If you put it on your calendar, you'll be less likely to skip it.

Remember, it's perfectly acceptable to separate your workouts if you want to do weights at one time and cardio at another time.

Stay flexible, and if you have to move your workout around that's OK. The important thing is to get a workout in each day.

If you must skip a workout, pick up exactly where you left off in the schedule the next day.
