Today you're going to head back into the gym for back and biceps and do 26-30 minutes of cardio, but first I'm going to talk a little bit about alcohol calories.

You Booze, You Lose

By now you're probably getting the hang of how many calories are contained in the foods you're eating.

If you drink alcoholic beverages periodically, it's also important to make sure you have an awareness of how many calories are in alcohol as well.

Drinking alcoholic beverages can really add up quickly, so if you want to guarantee your success, the best thing to do is to stay away from them all together.

If you feel like you just have to have a drink, make sure to track the calories and account for them. If you don't, you likely won't see the same level of results that you're hoping for.

There are about 150 calories in a 12 ounce beer, about 100 calories in an ounce and a half of 80 proof liquor, and 125 calories in 100-proof liquor.

This should get you thinking - 1 drink now and then isn't a problem, but if you're drinking more frequently than this, it will definitely hinder your progress.
