Energy drinks are horrible especially when trying to stay lean. Look at how much sugar they have and most of them make you crash. If you need energy for your workouts, try eating some good complex carbs and hour or so before it, caffeine, or just buy a good pre-work out supplement. Stay away from energy drinks.

I still find my self hungry between meals even though im eating 5-6 times a day. im trying to cut back on the carbs to lose weight and ideas??

Stick to the diet. Adding more calories is something you want to stay away from.

Chew gum, or drink some water. Personally I enjoy sipping on 10grams of BCAA mixed with 12 oz of water throughout the day to curb my appetite.

Just got into week 2, so far this program feels pretty good. Im doing it with a friend who is new to weights and its good for both myself who is experienced and him who is new to weights. Excited to see results for both of us!

Wk1 day 1 Work out was good. I was doing 5x5 strong lifts for 4 months. harder for a women to progress at this than a man, felt like I was spinning my wheels... so on something different. Hope to lose weight, I have hypothyroid so it's not easy. Hope to see better changes in the next 12 weeks :)

However...... At the end of the day your meals are totally your choice.

I actually work at a gym as a trainer and group exercise instructor, however I have two small children and the gym only has childcare mon through sat and I don't come in on thu unless I have a client. I do however teach intense cycling classes four times per week, plus yoga, and a weights class twice a week. What I will be doing is weight training three times per week as outlined. So my day one will coincide with day one, etc but I will not be following the cardio days and there will be gaps between training days. This program may last me all year before I have to start over, at which point I may be able to train more often.
