Eric Satterwhite

Background

Well all through high school I played sports - football, rugby, wrestling, etc. So one way or another I was in a weight room. Which adds up to about 6 or 7 years lifting experience. I was good enough to play in high school, but didn't think I could keep up with college work & play at the same time. So I didn't play. And my first year in college consisted of pizzas and video games, and needless to say I put on a few extra lbs. So I decided to get back into the gym, and it lit a fire under my ass. I was, and still am, very competitive. I want to be the best at whatever I do. So I started to learn about bodybuilding and eventually started to study human physiology in college. And that's how it all started.

Motivation:

As I stated before, I want to be the best at whatever I do. I love to learn about the human body and how it works. For me lifting is fun and bodybuilding is a natural fit. I don't know the meaning of the word satisfied. I will never be satisfied with my physique. That's just how my brain operates. I'm never satisfied with a work out either. No matter how good one may be, the first thing that comes to mind are the things that I can improve on.

Impact:

Basically bodybuilding, as a lifestyle, has taught me how to prioritize and set goals. Not only to set goals, but how to follow through and get what you want through persistence. If you want it bad enough, you will find a way. So what's stopping you? Name: Eric Satterwhite
