Background

I'm a 22 year old student studying in my final year at Loughborough University in England. I'm originally from London, England. I've been a fan of fitness and sports for as long as I can remember. During my school days I represented my county at football, water-polo and athletics. I've also had football contracts with Wimbledon FC (now MK Dons) and Fulham FC. Injuries forced me into the weights room at aged 18. As an ectomorph, I found it near impossible to gain any weight, through muscle or fat. The first few years I had no idea about good nutrition or a proper weight training program.

As the years went by I learned more and more about training but still neglected the nutritional side of building muscle. Thinking supplementation was the key, I bought and tried pretty much every supplement know to man. Little did I know supplements work in conjunction with a good training program and sound nutrition plan. So, frustrated at my lack of progress I started searching to find out anything and everything about nutrition! I found Bodybuilding.com and never looked back! Since then I have managed to increase my previously scrawny frame and add over 30 lbs of muscle since I first started back in 2004. I've learned that dedication, commitment, but above all knowledge was key. I want to help as many people with the knowledge I have acquired.
