Single-arm inverted row

The single-arm inverted row is a bodyweight exercise targeting the muscles of the lats (latissimus dorsi) and upper back, using the bar of the Smith machine to hang and pull from. You can change the bar height to customize the difficulty level and desired angle of the row.

Benefits

  1. Builds back size and pulling strength
  2. Helps with imbalances in strength and size between sides
  3. Can vary the difficulty by raising or lowering the height of the bar
  4. Can also be performed on a barbell in a rack
