Seated leg lift

The seated leg lift is a bodyweight exercise targeting the muscles of the core and hip flexors. It can be performed for time or reps in the core-focused portion of any workout.


  1. Strengthens the muscles of the abs, including the deep core and rectus abdominis or “six-pack” muscles
  2. Builds hip flexor strength
  3. Can help build up to long-duration L-sits and other advanced core exercises
