Bent-knee hollow pulse

The bent-knee hollow pulse is a core exercise focused on small "pulsing" movements in a hollow-body position. It targets multiple muscles of the core, but particularly the rectus abdominis or "six-pack" muscles. It can be performed for time or reps in the ab-focused portion of any workout.

Benefits

  1. Serious abdominal activation and burn
  2. Effective if hollow-body rocks or holds are too difficult
  3. Makes it easier to avoid lower-back extension
