Karla Tafra


Karla Tafra was born and raised in Croatia, where she found yoga as a way to relieve pain that she experienced from years of intensive dance. Her passion led her to become a yoga instructor in 2011. Over the years, Karla has worked with weightlifters, CrossFit athletes, runners, tennis players, basketball players, and rowers. Eventually, she moved to the United States, where she has since worked with the Seattle Seahawks and various other groups of professional athletes. Tafra's experience has helped her develop a sport-specific approach to yoga practice to help her students maximize recovery and become stronger, faster, and more explosive. When not doing yoga, Tafra dabbles in everything from running, tennis, and lifting weights, to cycling and functional training.
