Emily Barnhart, CSCS

Background

Emily Barnhart is a Master’s student at The Ohio State University. Much of her time goes towards studying various diet protocols on strength performance in tactical athletes. However, her love of weight training developed in a very different gym, through gymnastics. She plans to help implement a more strategic weight program within the sport.

Emily has worked in a wide variety of populations, including ARMY, menopausal women, Yale Athletics, and UCONN Women’s Basketball. She, of course, likes to mention the latter every year during March. Go Huskies!
