Why I decided to transform

I was a typical skinny kid at school who never stood out and was just another face in the crowd. I grew up in a family that was heavy into fitness and trained in our home gym, but I preferred to play on the computer. When I was younger, I tried to get into sports like football, hockey, golf, and basketball but didn't enjoy it, so I stopped.

As I grew older, I started to dabble in the gym to kill time but never stayed consistent. That changed when I had a falling out with my group of friends toward the end of 2011 and decided to dedicate my mind and body to the iron.

I used working out as a form of therapy to relieve myself from the anger of what happened between my friends and I. After seeing small results, I became ridiculously addicted and haven't looked back.

Training changed my life in extremely positive ways. I received complimentary gym apparel from Assailant Gymwear and my confidence skyrocketed. I've also inspired a few friends to start on their own journey.

How I accomplished my goals

I was 100-percent dedicated to working out. I never skipped a session and always looked forward to the next day in the gym. My constant research on dieting, supplementation, and training helped immensely.

The main source of my inspiration comes from my idols Ulisses Jr and Simeon Panda. Their physiques are absolutely godly and I will do anything possible to achieve that.

I only have two set meals per day but eat almonds and peanut butter toast throughout the day.

Training regimen that kept me on track

I always train fasted because I get better contractions in my muscles, especially when I work out my core. I use a mix of heavy and light weights with high and low reps throughout my week. I finish each workout with a short core workout.

Day 4: Back/Shoulders

What aspect challenged me the most

The most challenging part was making the effort to go to the gym during winter. On rainy days, it felt easy to skip the gym, but I never let that happen.

My future fitness plans

When I started, I never considered competing in any form. As I progressed, I started thinking I have a chance and hopefully will compete in my first physique competition next year.

Regardless of your body type or current physical situation, anything is possible as long as you put in effort. Switch up your diet, research different training styles, find something that works for you, and go for it.

How helped me reach my goals is my bible! I visit it daily and read all the relevant articles to my goals. I constantly turn to it for supplements, supplement reviews, and training gear. I wouldn't have the physique I do today if I hadn't found
