You can make this stir-fry-style dish in no time flat, but it'll satisfy you for hours. Double the recipe, and you'll find it's even better the day after!

Ingredients

  • 5 oz flank steak
  • ½ cup broccoli
  • 1 cup brown rice
  • 1 tbsp chopped shallots
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 2 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tsp sesame seed oil
  • 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper

  1. Slice the beef as thinly as possible and marinate with the shallot, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, vinegar, and cayenne.
  2. Cut the broccoli into small florets and throw them into a hot pan with a few drops of oil. Cook for about a minute, shaking the broccoli around the pan to cook evenly.
  3. Add the sliced beef and the marinade. Continue to cook on high, until beef is as done as you like. Pour this over a bowl of brown rice.
