Why I Decided to Transform

I've always had a rail physique. If I turned sideways, you lost sight of me. My head seemed too big for my body and my physique was comparable to a match stick. Gaming is my passion and I never thought about exercising. I thought I could eat whatever I wanted and play games all day.

My inspiration to work out came from Starcraft. One of the main characters, Tychus Findlay, is 6-foot-7, 350 pounds. I admired his functional strength and wanted to be like him. The seed of inspiration took two years to develop. I kept thinking if I was big nobody would mess with me. My friends Danny and Brandon suggested we start lifting and I was down. My two workout partners and I teamed up and started down the road to aesthetic perfection.

As I progressed, others became inspired by me and started to better their physiques. Random people asked me for training and dieting advice. It makes me feel good to help people who want to be fit. I will help anyone who wants to get in shape. The feeling must be shared. Everyone wants to be ripped, but few people have the motivation. For some people, I've become their motivation and gained respect for achieving what I did.

How I Accomplished My Goals

Gamers work to achieve a plethora of goals. I spend lots of time gaming and managed to improve my goal-accomplishing mindset. I set a goal and endlessly strive to achieve it. I got lots of inspiration from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Aziz Shavershian. They had great physiques and Aziz had a similar story to mine, so I drew lots of inspiration from them. Arnold Schwarzenegger's video, "The Pump," is the best motivation.

What Aspect Challenged Me the Most

The biggest challenge was the training. My workouts are intense. I pushed through it with the help of a pre-workout supplement, good music, and hardcore determination. Training is like my favorite television show, except I never run out of seasons. It just keeps getting better.

My Future Fitness Plans

I'd like to try everything fitness can offer. I want to get big, at least 220 pounds, seven percent body fat, and say I did it steroid free. I would like to be a personal trainer. I casually train many friends and think it's something I'm good at.

How Bodybuilding.com Helped Me Reach My Goals

My workouts are heavily influenced by Greg Plitt's MFT28. I also read articles on creatine and enjoy the strength gains I've seen from the ingredient.
