Did you know?
If you keep a record of your training, you can have a better idea of your improvements over time and your overall progress.
All I can say today is 'Damn!' My little girl has been sick this week and wouldn't you know that right in the middle of some great gains I would get sick too.

All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred.
Day # 19 of 56 - 02-01-02

All I can say today is DAMN!! My little girl has been sick this week and wouldn't you know that right in the middle of some great gains I would get sick too. I have gotten a prescription filled for some antibiotics and something to break up all this crap in my nose and throat. It happens. So my plans are to rest, eat and load myself up with medicine this weekend to get over this crap. But I did push through a really good leg workout this morning. When I have all this head cold crap about the only time during the day that I feel good is while training. My head opens up, and I feel great.

I blasted calves using my version of HIT. I did donkey raises, leg press toe raises and seated raises. I did 3 sets of 10 reps each squeezing each rep and using a 4 second negative, they are blasted.

After warming up my legs and stretching I was ready to hit them hard. I used the same form of training for my legs as I did my calves and let me tell you, it hit them like they hadn't been hit in a while.

Leg curl - 1x10 - 70lbs, 1x10 - 100lbs, 1x10 - 120lbs
Straight leg dead lifts - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x10 - 225lbs
Leg press with feet high on the sled - 1x10 - 5 plates per side, 1x10 - 6 plates per side
Leg extensions - 2x10 - 80lbs
Squats - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x6 - 225lbs, 1x6 - 315lbs
Leg press - 1x10 - 6 plates per side, 1x10 - 7 plates per side
Hack squats - 2x6 - 2 plates per side
Front squats - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x10 - 155lbs

All in all it was a great workout. My legs were swollen big time. Now I just hope I can get over this cold or whatever I have before Monday. I felt stronger today with legs than I ever have. My previous best on squats with 315lbs is 4 reps when pre-exhausted but today I was able to pump out 6 reps and had I not used the negative it would have been many more. Well I will train shoulders and arms tomorrow, so check back Monday for my next two updates.

Bigger and stronger by the day
