Q
How did your fitness journey begin?
I was the skinniest and shortest kid in school growing up, which led to lots of bullying from my taller and bigger peers. During my sophomore year of high school, my best friend Liubo and I joined a small gym with basic equipment. We started training to look better, stronger, and more attractive to the ladies.
At the beginning, I didn't have any knowledge about healthy nutrition and proper lifting but still saw good results. This motivated me to learn more about bodybuilding. My results got better with every article I read. Now I'm addicted to training and can't imagine my life without working out and eating healthy.
What workout regimen delivered the best results?
I base my workouts around heavy compound movements with low reps and heavy weight because it gives me the best results. As I go deeper into a workout, I increase the reps for each set. For working sets, I strive to hit a PR on every workout. I usually go to failure on each set.

How did your passion for fitness emerge?
Seeing results and knowing that I'm becoming a stronger version of myself is my biggest motivation. There isn't much about life you can control, but training and nutrition depend on you. If you don't see results, you must try harder.
What/Who motivated you to be a fitness guru?
I'm motivated by natural bodybuilders and fitness models like Matthew Ogus, Chris Lavado, Jeff Seid, Alon Gabbay, Chris Jones, Rob Riches, and Devon Palombo. These guys achieved their physiques through hard work, motivation, and determination. It makes me want to achieve something similar without using steroids.
Where did you go for inspiration?
I browse my favorite YouTube fitness channels and check out the awesome physiques. It inspires me to hit the gym when I'm tired or have a bad day.

What are your future fitness plans?
I plan to become a personal trainer and fitness model. I don't plan to compete in bodybuilding competitions for two more years.
What is the most important fitness tip?
Educate yourself about healthy nutrition and proper lifting technique. These will serve as the foundation of you success.
Who is your favorite competitor?
Matthew Ogus is really smart about training and nutrition. He follows basic principles that have worked for decades. He also has really great genetics, puts in hard work, and seems like a humble and down-to-earth guy.
