How Did You Get Started?
I have always been in sports and touched in on Weight Lifting. I have been told all my life I should lift because I had the genetics. Because I always took care of myself I kept my bodyfat always close to 11 to 12%. I always looked like I lifted being so lean. In 1992 I suffered a terrible knee injury shredding my ACL and complete damage to both Medial and lateral cartilage. I went under two long surgeries and spent 3 days a week every week for 6 months in Rehab. I had to learn how to walk all over again. I dropped under 100 lbs due to such pain. Years went on and it took a long time before I could a lot of things I was use to. The summer of 1997 I decided to quit my job and spend time playing Golf and Bodybuild full time to see just how big I could get!! I had no intentions to compete because of the drugs etc... I was strong headed about this issue. The owners of the World Gym Tony and Arlene kept at me to compete because even after 7 months of full time training I was at where most bodybuilders wanted to be after years of training. This went on for a few months then when they mentioned a local NPC Level 3 tested contest coming up in our town I gave in!! That was the first contest I ever entered and ever attended in my life! I won my division and took overall! I entered that contest 5/2/98 then entered a different sanction 2 contest National quailifier, won my division, 3rd contest Ironman State Level National quailifier NPC won my division and overall!! I went to National in the ANBC sanction, placed 6th, not bad for only 2 Years!! That was when I lived in Florida. December of 1998 I moved to Charleston WV to be with my family for awhile.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I take Animal Pak for vitamins, HMB for faster recovery, Protein powder for Fast protein, and Cell Tech for incredible gains and strength. Only during the time I am training for a particular contest will I utilize them consistently. You can only get so much from food and so additional natural supplements assist when the food can't. (Plus I can only tolerate so much chicken and tuna.)
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
Bodybuilding is the path that changed and bettered my life!! I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist in 2 states and I specialize in Advanced Deep Tissue Neuromuscular & Sports Massage. The combinations completes the circle in my life. I believe God gives us Gifts and Talents and some of us, like me, were fortunate to find it!! I also like to watch other people's expression when I walk into a room! Ha Ha!
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
Well at 34 years old I still think I'll compete if not in the Open division then maybe bow down to the 35 year old and older! Ha Ha. I still got it going on. The best is yet to come!! If I can do as well as I did with as little as 2 1/2 years training against those with 8 or more, wait till I've trained for that many years!
