How Did You Get Started?

I started training in 1990 when my wife was pregnant with our first son. I weighed 135 lbs at the time. While my wife was pregnant I spent my time attending to her needs and she felt that I should have a little quality time for myself. I joined a gym and I was hooked!

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I workout 4 days a week

  • Mon- Quads, Hamstrings & Calves
  • Tues- Chest and Triceps
  • Thurs- Back & Bi's & Calves
  • Fri- Shoulders & Traps
On Wednesday's I do a cardio workout only. I do not train on the weekends. This plan tends to give me the best results in regards to recovery and growth. But most importantly this schedule allows me not to impact my number one priority - Quality Family Time.

I basically use a 40% Protein - 40% Carbs - 20% Good Fats year around. During the off-season I have a cheat day usually Saturday (yes I eat what I want).
