All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred.
Day # 47 of 56 - 03-08-02

For some reason the last few mornings for leg day have been almost impossible to get my butt up out of bed. I love to train legs; maybe it's my legs begging me to spare them on leg day or something.

Today I did seated calve raises, leg press toe raises and donkey raises but I only did 2 sets but I really overloaded the muscle today for about 15 reps each set. After hitting calves I stretched out really good and tried to get the blood flowing through my legs before I jumped into the workout.

Leg curls - 1x10 - 90lbs, 1x10 - 130lbs
Leg press (feet in high position) 1x10 - 5 plates each side, 1x10 - 6 plates each side
Stiff leg dead lifts - 1x10 - 225lbs, 1x6 - 245lbs, 1x10 - 135lbs (did this last set very controlled and got a really good stretch at the bottom and a great negative)
Leg extensions - 2x10 - 100lbs
Squats - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x6 - 225lbs, 1x6 - 315lbs, 1x10 - 225lbs (this set I did with a very wide stance to really hit the inner thigh area)
Leg press - 1x10 - 6 plates each side, 1x10 - 7 plates each side
Hack squats - 2x10 - 2 plates each side
Smith machine squat (I did these with a really close stance with my feet way out from my body) 2x15 - 150lbs

Over all I feel I really got a good workout today for my legs. I haven't been able to go as heavy on squats as I would like because of my knees really bothering me lately, from now on I will do squats dead last after my legs have been exhausted. I will train arms tomorrow and will have that update on Monday along with my regular Monday update.
