All-Out 8-Week Mass Attack. No Holds Barred.
Day # 39 of 56 - 02-27-02

My intentions for this morning's leg workout were to train heavy, but that was nipped in the bud from the second I got up. My left knee was really tight this morning, maybe due to the cold weather, but I was hoping it would have loosened up a bit but it never did. So I decided to do some slow controlled reps, a giant set and use some good negatives to make up for the lack of weight I could use.

Leg curl - 1x10 - 80lbs, 1x10 - 120lbs, 1x8 - 130lbs
High foot placement leg press - 1x10 - 4 plates each side, 1x10 - 5 plates each side
Stiff leg dead lifts - 1x6 - 225lbs, 1x6 - 245lbs
Squats - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x6 - 225lbs
Leg press - 1x10 - 5 plates each side, 1x10 - 7 plates each side
Front squats 1x6 - 135lbs
Smith machine squats - 1x10 - 135lbs, 1x10 - 155lbs
Leg press (super set with smith machine squats) - 1x10 - 6 plates, 1x10 - 5 plates, 1x10 - 4 plates

This is the first day I haven't felt strong at all while being on this stack. It was weird too. I guess it all goes back to my left knee being tight and not getting loose, I tried everything to loosen it up but it just didn't want to cooperate. Although I trained with lightweight I still had a great workout, the change may have done me more good than going heavy. Tomorrow I will finish up my week with arms and then I am looking forward to a good peaceful, rest filled weekend.
