I will! Right now, I hurt all over. I power walked 7 miles this morning in 25 degree cold. i live in Florida too!! It sucked, but I'm so proud of myself.
@Jade.....good job!!! power walk can be a killer.
@Tallah....Let us know how you do.
This morning I ran out of time, my ipod died in the middle of my workout, and beeing tired was the perfect combo to cut my leg workout short. NOT happy with the way things turned out this morning, but it is what it is :) I do have to say, I killed it my legs felt like noodles on the way out the gym. I got all the way to mountain climbers. Now I just wanna go take a nap.....but I have to be at work in 1 hour :( TTY soon ladies.
I started with legs on Tuesday and I am feeling it today!! Loved it!
@TalIah.....I did legs for the 2nd time, and guess what?!?! my *** got sore all over again, not sure why? but it is. My lower body is my trouble area so instead of working shoulders and back 2X a week. I am going to hit legs 2X a week. So I guess I am gonna be sore all the time .....hahaha
okay this is exciting especially since I use to love track way back when(I'm not that old) but its been years. This is a really easy workout plan to follow and will help me get aquainted with the gym.
Thanks lady! Please let me know if you have questions about anything. You can also check out my website at www.leanlikelaura.com for much more information, videos, recipes, exercises, etc. Be blessed!
Good question. At the time this program was designed, I was working on growing my calves. That is the only reason I was training them so often. I do not train them like that anymore, If your calves are where you want them to be, then omit that portion of the workout.
Hey there Ms. Mel! Thanks girl. I wish I could've seen you and Tino again before I left. But at least I saw you at Walmart! :-) LOL. You already know you nutrition is the most important part of getting rid of the fat. there are tons of fat burners on the market now, but you have to be careful if you are stimulant sensitive. Some are waaaaay to strong for people. All American EFX just reformulated their Lean Fix which works well. The best thing to do is try and get samples of different ones to see what your body responds to best. BTW, where's your profile picture. I'm going to keep tabs on you missy!
Girl, that ending of your video is TOO CUTE! I see you FINALLY got your due! God is good!!! I've been away for a minute, but now that I see you, I know it's time for me to step my game up again. Proud of you:-)
Ha-ha!!!! You like that "finale" huh?? I had so much fun filming with their video crew. They are the best. I appreciate the love. You know how hard I have worked. Excited to hear you are ready to step up your game girl! DO IT!!!! I am cheering for you as we speak.....er, ummmm, type! Thanks again. Be blessed!
Laura - I love your plan and am starting today. I am a distance runner who plans to do my second triathlon this year. What is your nutrition like when you train for a tri? I have an ultra in June and I am so worried about losing muscle as I pick my miles up.
Hi PEACH!! :-) I've never trained for a Tri specifically, but I know that you will have to increase your carbohydrate intake tremendously. I do not cut carbs, but when i incorporate more distance running in my training, I have have carbs with every meal and often do double servings with pre and post-workouts. I'm not sure what your weight is, but you also want to make sure your protein intake is sufficient for your size 1-2g/lb) and take branch chain aminos to prevent muscle loss. Good luck with your training! Please keep me posted.
