The latest edition of the new IFBB Pro Rankings has been released. A quick review of the Top 20 is more than enough to get fans charged up for the upcoming Olympia. Ronnie Coleman leads the way. Big Ron barely beat out top contender Jay Cutler for the top spot. Gunter Schlierkamp, Kevin Levrone and Chris Cormier rounded out the top 5. Making his Top 20 debut was N.O.C. champ Victor Martinez. When the votes were tallied, Victor scored into the #12 spot. To view the complete IFBB Rankings, be sure to visit www.ProMuscleOnline.com.

Olympia athletes are settling into their pre-contest routine as we approach "12 weeks out". There are currently 24 qualified athletes, however, there are a handful of qualifiers who are not expected to be on stage. The absence of Craig Titus, Orville Burke and Flex Wheeler will bring the field to 21. We are still awaiting word from Lee Priest and Shawn Ray. Lee has expressed his reluctance to continue competing... stay tuned. One additional qualification will be given to the winner of next month's Masters Olympia.

The 2003 edition of the Jan Tana is slated for the weekend August 15th in Charlotte. The event will once again be held in conjunction with Joe Weider's Masters Olympia. The field of pro fitness competitors includes Stacy Hylton, Kim Lyons, Beth Horn, Tanji Johnson along with 20 other athletes. The event will also feature the new IFBB Figure division. Competitors include Aleksandra Kobielak, Elaine Goodlad, Allison Bookless, DJ Wallis along with a host of notable "figures".

The Master's Olympia will move beyond the Taylor-Youngblood era as both have opted out of this years over 40 jam. The competitors list is currently being finalized, however, we do know that Claude Groulx will be on stage. If Claude can achieve peak condition he will be the Master (Groulx has already qualified for this years Olympia).
