Background

Dan Solomon has emerged as one of the most visible members of the bodybuilding media. In 2005 he developed the popular "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" radio show as a way to bring the sport to a worldwide audience. Dan has also served as the television host of several Mr. Olympia contests as well as the lead commentator for the popular Bodybuilding.com global webcasts.

For more than a decade, Solomon has conducted many of the bodybuilding industry's most high-profile and memorable interviews, including several Live interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger (viewed by millions, right here at Bodybuilding.com) along with interviews featuring countless other industry icons ranging from Joe & Ben Weider all the way to Lou Ferrigno, Reg Park and every single winner of the Mr. Olympia contest.

Solomon has been called upon to serve as a Moderator of the annual Mr. Olympia Press Conference in Las Vegas and has made appearances as Master of Ceremonies for many of the industry's premier events. As a writer, Solomon's work has been featured in many of the fitness category's leading magazines, including Muscle & Fitness and Flex Magazine.

In 2008 Solomon was presented with the IFBB's highest honor when IFBB co-founder Ben Weider presented him with the "Lifetime Achievement Medal" during a special ceremony held in Las Vegas during Olympia Weekend.

Back in 2005, Solomon was named "Most Creative of the Year" by Iron Man Magazine and later he would receive similar acknowledgments in other magazines. A graduate of the University of Hartford's School of Journalism followed by additional studies at the University of Miami's School of Broadcasting, Solomon founded the "Physique Management Group" (PMG).

Today, the "Pro Bodybuilding Weekly" radio show is the # 1 rated multi-media production in the fitness and bodybuilding category.
