How Did You Get Started?

I got started when I was 16 years old. I was in 10th grade. I used to eat a lot of junk food, chocolates and sweets. I was so fat that everybody called me different kind of names such as fatty, elephant, hippo and many other names.

My friends always used to tease me, and I was fed up with it. It was so embarrassing for me. Everybody watched me as if I was an alien! Then a few of my friends started to go to the gym. I also got motivated to start training then, and I went to the gym with them.

At first I didn't get results because of lack of knowledge and proper guidance. Then I started to browse around for bodybuilding, nutrition, fat loss and fitness information on the internet. Then I found It gave me a lot of motivation and information about all the things of fitness and training that I needed.

I started to find tips and advice from experts, reading the articles of experienced and educated writers and seeing transformations. Then I got on the right track by following these things in my plan to get fit.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I train one body part once in a week. My workout plan is:

Failure - That point in an exercise at which you have so fully fatigued your working muscles that they can no longer complete an additional repetition of a movement with strict biomechanics. You should always take your post-warm-up sets at least to the point of momentary muscular failure, and frequently past that point.

Day 1: Chest/Abs

Day 2: Back

Day 3: Rest

Day 4: Shoulders

Day 5: Arms

Day 6: Legs

Day 7: Forearms/Abs

I do cardio first thing in the morning three times a week for 30 to 45 minutes when getting ready for a competition.
