How Did You Get Started?
Throughout the years, I have always been somewhat athletic. In high school I was both a cheerleader and on the track team. As I matured, I became more involved with weightlifting. I originally started out doing aerobics. Eventually, I wanted something a bit more, so I progressed to the Nautilus equipment. I then grew tired of that and started on free weights which I enjoy very much. With all the information I was learning on a day to day basis, I found myself wanting to start competitive bodybuilding. In my very first competition this past April 2001, I placed second in my weight class. I'm hooked now and can't wait to apply what I've learned at my next competition this November. I would also like to say thank you to my loving husband for all of his encouragement and moral support. Also, I credit much of my success to Dominic Damiano and Jim Griffith.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love the way it makes me feel... confident, self-gratification. I love it when people compliment me on how I look and the way they look at me. Lastly, it relieves stress.
