How Did You Get Started?

During senior year I have been lifting daily always trying to gain size and strength. I never took my diet seriously, but always lifted and ran thinking it was enough. My daily regime was lifting every day and eating everything I could until I was full. I wanted to get more out of my workouts; I wanted to stand out more than I did.

I began thinking about an actual diet in-order to compete. After a few weeks we got in touch with a trainer Alex who created a 12 week diet for our first contest. Having the right diet changed our bodies completely, and it has changed the way I look at food now.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love bodybuilding because it keeps me self-satisfied. Every time I walk out of the gym I am pumped for the next workout. I also find it amazing that the body can be created into something unique with a healthy diet and lifting schedule.

Bodybuilding also gives me a confidence boost and heightens my mood. Competing is another reason why I love bodybuilding. When I was in the last 3 weeks of my first contest prep diet I didn't want to continue bodybuilding anymore. But as soon as I stepped off the stage I felt the rush and excitement and was thinking about competing in more contests. Plus the girls love a good body.

What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?

The results I receive give me the motivation to follow a healthy lifestyle. I also set goals for myself every week so it is easy to follow. Rather than saying I won’t have cheat foods, I’ll make a goal not to have any cheat foods this week, and keep repeating this goal every week.

What Made You Want To Achieve Your Goals?

Sibling rivalry helped me achieve my goal. Throughout my whole contest prep I tried to out-lean my brother. We made a competition of our own to see who could place higher in the contest.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

Compete in the OCB again. Try to get an interview from a magazine. Hit the weights more focused and with more knowledge. Start the SciVation sample Gainer’s Diet to get more mass. Work on Posing. Posing is key in every competition.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

Knowledge is the best supplement you can ever have. Read a lot about lifting, dieting and the human body. Currently I am taking an AP class and I am learning a lot about the human skeleton, and muscle. And soon I will be taking a biometrics class.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

What Features Do You Use On Bodybuilding.com?

I read almost all of the articles on the Supersite page. I think knowledge is the best supplement so I try to learn as much as I can about the human body as possible. Most of the nutrition articles have helped me a long the way, and I will be using SciVation’s mass gain articles in the future.
