How Did You Get Started?

I got started lifting at the age of 12. I had a little more meat on me and I wanted to get rid of it and become more muscular. With that said, I borrowed one 22lbs sand weight from a friend. At night I would set it on my chest and do sit ups. I would also do concentration curls, overhead triceps extensions, and one arm flyes.

Of course at the time I had no clue what any of these exercises really were. I was simply copying movements off of the bow flex and other fitness commercials. But it was all working. I lost all my fat and got a lot bigger. The first day I got that weight I could only curl it 7 times. A little over a month later I was curling it at least 45 times. After that, my lifting just got more and more serious and intense.

I knew how big I wanted to be but I couldn't yet comprehend that I really wanted to be a bodybuilder. I didn't even know anything about the sport until I was 14. I saw a picture of Ronnie Coleman and read an article. After that it was a done deal, and I started training like him the next day. The rest is history.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

Everything twice a week.

Day 1 - Chest/Triceps:

Day 2 - Legs/Shoulders:

Day 3 - Back/Biceps:

Day 4 - Off:

Calves or abs are still worked.

I work calves and abs every other day, but not together on the same day though. Both have 3-5 workouts, all of which are done in one set which is a tri set or giant set.

Any BSN supplement, but I'll say Nitrix is probably the best one for me.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love bodybuilding because, in my opinion, it is the ultimate sport. One person demanding perfection in every aspect possible...it takes all you have...even the slightest mistake or slacking can cause the most unwanted change in your body.

Bodybuilding also seems to change people's lives. I guess I can only speak for myself, but I notice that bodybuilders in general seem to take a lot of the work ethic they use in the gym and incorporate it with almost everything they do. I know I do. It's never a bad thing to try and be the best and demand perfection. Just as long as we remember we can't control everything and things won't always be perfect.

What Motivates You To Follow A Healthy Lifestyle?

Just the future that I now see set in stone (in my eyes). In order to get there I need to make the right choices.

My future plans are to compete in the Southern United States and then maybe teen nationals, depending on how I do at the states.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

My tip for other fitness competitors is to never short yourself and listen to your body.
