How Did You Get Started?
We were informed on August 27, 2009 that Cody passed away May 22, 2009. He was 18 years old.
I started to bodybuild in the 9th grade. It was my first year in high school, I didn't play any sports and I had a lot of free time. Over the years my basement seemed to have gathered some useful weight lifting equipment, but I never really knew what to do with it all. So one day, I just decided to give all of it a try.
To be honest, I really disliked it, though I continued to do it. After the first couple months I started to see a lot of changes in not only the way I looked, but also the way that I felt. I felt as if I had gained much more stamina. And after that I really began to like it and it quickly became a part of my life.
What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?
When I first started I did every body part twice a week. I saw changes, but I was physically tired all the time. So someone suggested to me that I switch up my workout a little, with only doing each body part once a week. Since then I have stuck with this work out:

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Usually I just take a protein shake three times a day, eat about 12 oz of chicken a day, and a lot of what ever my mom makes for dinner. I'm really picky with what I eat. I never eat junk food, or drink soda. I try to drink as much water as I can and intake as much protein as I can.
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
The only thing that I take is protein. It has seemed to have helped me from the start, and being so young I don't think I need to much more. I would like to bodybuild as naturally as I can, doing that makes me feel like I accomplish more.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it's what I do. I was once told 'Life is a marathon, not a sprint. So treat your body right so it makes it to the finish line.' And ever since then, bodybuilding moved from my hobby, to my sport. It's something that will always be there for me to do, it's something to look forward to once I get home from school. For me bodybuilding isn't something I do so others will notice what I look like, it's something that I enjoy because it makes me feel good.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I was hopping that sometime in the near future I could enter a all natural teen bodybuilding competition.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
The first couple months are hard, but push through it and you'll realize the gifts that it rewards you with.
