Our company was started in 1964.
[ Q ] Why was your company started?
The company was started as a pharmaceutical manufacturing company, specializing in over the counter drugs.

[ Q ] Who was your company started by, and what sort of background do they have?
The company was started by Mr. Sidney Rich and his son Mel who are both pharmacists.

[ Q ] Tell us about your key employees? Who are they and what do they do?
Bob Weinstein V.P. Sales has 34 years of experience in the Natural Vitamin business.
Bob is in charge of sales for all 4 companies that operate under the Phoenix Labs umbrella of companies.
[ Q ] What separates your company from the rest of the industry?
Phoenix Labs is one of very few FDA registered manufacturing facilities in the Vitamin Industry. That is a level above GMP standards, due to the capability of manufacturing pharmaceuticals.

[ Q ] Are there any new and exciting products that you are coming out with soon?
We are so excited to say that we will be re-introducing an ephedra product. The final plans are falling into place, and soon to be announced with specifics.

We are re-engineering the entire Pinnacle line. Stay tuned.

[ Q ] Have you sponsored any athletes and if so, who have you sponsored? If so, how have they impacted your company?
[ Q ] What supplement combination would you recommend for someone just getting started?
I would recommend the new enthusiast contact a personal trainer or nutritionist at his or her club and see what is best for their needs. In addition to eating right, a "strong house is built on a strong foundation".

[ Q ] What do you believe is the best thing about the supplement industry?
The best thing are the companies that actually utilize science and human clinical studies to find what supplements actually work best for the specific needs of the athlete.

[ Q ] The worst?
The worst thing is the fact that anyone can make a supplement in our industry, and find a magazine to allow it to make ridiculous false claims.
[ Q ] Is there anything else you would like to say?
I would like to add that our industry has been hit very hard with the loss of Ephedra, bad press, the loss of pro hormones and the on going attack from the government and its agencies, but we cannot give up. The future is challenging, but hopeful at the same time.
