How did your fitness journey begin?

I've always been competitive, so being physically active and fit came naturally. I was a cardio junkie up until a year ago when I got injured and couldn't train at the gym or run marathons anymore. Instead of getting down on myself, I hit the weight room and never looked back. It's one of the best decisions I ever made.

What fitness regimen delivered the best results?

I stick to this routine, or one close to it, for the entire year. I don't have an off-season. If you aren't dripping sweat, you're not training hard enough!

What nutrition plan fueled your body?

Food fuels your body so you can maintain the fury in the gym. I stay away from bread, pasta, potatoes, noodles, rice, and starches, which is easy because I'm gluten- and dairy-free. When I wake up, I boil fresh lemons in water and drink it with AllMax Nutrition L-Carnitine to flush my body of toxins and boost my metabolism.

Fitness allows me to channel my competitiveness and use it for something positive. There are no limits in life, only plateaus. I will always push beyond my limits.

What/Who motivates you to live a healthy lifestyle?

My main motivator is my boyfriend Chris who took me by the hand and led me into the weight room one year ago. He continues to help me grow and better myself so I can become a role model to other girls who want to kill it.

Where did you go for inspiration?

I never settle because I can always do better. I inspire myself and hope to inspire others. There are few days that I feel tired, but I overcome it thanks to Chris and a heaping scoop of 1.M.R.

What are your future fitness plans?

I want to win more trophies and start my journey to the IFBB and the Olympia.

What is the most important fitness tip?

The fitness lifestyle requires intense focus daily but it's worth it. You must look at it that way if you want to succeed.

Who is your favorite fitness competitor?

Dana Linn Bailey rocks. She doesn't take an offseason and continues to crush it every day.
