How Did You Get Started?

I first got started in bodybuilding in 2000. I went to a show that a friend of mine had entered to help him out backstage, while I was back there, looking around at all the competitors I told myself; these guys don't look much better than I do, I think I can do this, and with the help of my friend/training partner I set my sights on doing a show later on that same year.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

I have found that for me working one major body part per day works best. My schedule goes as follows:

  • Sunday - rest/cardio and abs.
  • Monday - chest and biceps
  • Tuesday - back and triceps.
  • Wednesday - rest/cardio and abs
  • Thursday - shoulders
  • Friday - arms
  • Saturday - legs, quads in the a.m. hams in the p.m.
  • I do calves at least 3 times a week.
  • For contest prep, I would do cardio every morning before work for about 40 minutes.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

With such a wide variety of supplements on the market, I basically stick to good food sources as my main protein. I feel pretty good about my reactions while taking NO2, Cell-Tech, Nitro-Tech, and Myoplex M.R.S.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

My love for bodybuilding comes out of amazement. It just amazes me to see what one can do to their bodies with proper training and dieting. On top of that, it's the rush you get from being onstage, having total stranger applaud you for your hard work and sacrifices, when you hit a pose, or do your music routine.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

Right now I am starting to prepare myself for the Mid-Atlantic Natural Classic in May, I'll probably follow that up with the Jersey/Suburban the following week and depending on how I feel and look, test the waters at the Team Universe in August.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

All I can say is to be realistic and true to yourself. Don't try to be Mr.O before you even become nationally qualified. Train hard, train smart, stay focused on your goals in the sport.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

My personal favorite bodybuilder is my friend and sometimes training partner, the one that got me into this sport, Brenton Rousey. You may not know him now, but one day you will.
