You've worked hard for several months getting your routine and physique in top performance condition. Now it's time to show off all of that hard work and effort at your fitness event.
You have decided to compete in fitness and are not sure of a training regimen. This is the part of your goal that takes a lot of planning and hard work. If you do not have a training partner or a personal trainer, it would be a good idea to get one.
When you have decided to embark on a journey to compete in fitness, your mind will start to reel. You will feel excited, anxious, and frightened, and a little confused. You will find yourself asking a broad array of questions, and then you have to set out to get those questions answered.
Explained in Part One was the importance of protein, carbs and fats for optimal fitness performance, mass gains, and fat losses. I will now explain how to put those nutrients together into an actual program and how to follow it.
Routines that seem effortless, fun and full of flair and pizzazz are the routines that are the BEST! Proper form and sharp clean moves are what the judges look for, and are the most impressive.
As a first year competitor, I still have much to observe and learn. Nevertheless, I may have a few suggestions for those getting started in fitness. After competing in three Fitness America Pageant Regional qualifiers, I have made several (hopefully helpful) notes on training and fitness routines.
