NEWS FROM THE SHOW

Tanji Johnson Dropped Out From Show, Tears Achilles Tendon

IFBB Fitness Pro Tanji Johnson has dropped out of the Arnold Classic after tearing her Achilles tendon. Tanji said she was doing a final run through of her routine last night at 24 Hour Fitness and while performing a back tuck, she landed and her left ankle gave out. Although she didn't experience a lot of pain, it was clear that something was wrong. After a quick visit to the emergency room it was confirmed she had torn her left Achilles tendon. Tanji is scheduled for surgery Wednesday morning Feb 26th to repair the damage. Tanji is very disappointed as not only will she miss out on the Arnold Classic Fitness International, but she may be out for the balance of the season. She had worked very hard during the off-season and had made vast improvements in her physique, but we will have to wait to see the results of all her hard work.
