How Did You Get Started?
I almost died from a bleeding ulcer in 1996, after that I had a reality check and decided to turn my life around. In 1997 I found a couple trainers at gold's gym, one was into fitness the other bodybuilding. I had always wanted to get into bodybuilding, even when I was in high school, but it never happened, I never found anyone to train with, then I was inspired by my trainer Julie, she got me on the road to bodybuilding and has been training me ever since.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?
I regularly take a multi-vitamin every day, at lunch. I like glutamine after my workouts, I take dandelion and milk thistle for my liver, but mainly I eat properly and have the right combination of carbs, protein and fat in my diet, though I do have a day I eat what I want. My favorite breakfast is egg whites, oats and cinnamon mixed together to make pancakes.
Why do you love Bodybuilding?
I love bodybuilding because it helps me stay healthy, and I like to look good. It is also important in my job since I am the only female in the department I like to be able to pull my own weight. It helped me lose 93 lbs, and I like to see the changes my body makes as I continue to work out. especially when I do my shows.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
I want to be ready to do some shows next year, the show-me natural for one. I had to take a year off due to health related problems, and it never hurts to take a break to let your body heal. I will be in the over 50 group too, along with the open division middle weight.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
What my trainer said and taught me, It's never to late to get better. you have to give it your all and keep working, it takes time to develop and grow, so never give up. stay focused, always try to be the best you can be, that is all that counts.
