How Did You Get Started?
I got started bodybuilding to lose some weight. I was 160 lbs and had a lot of fat and just wanted to lose weight. However, I started to see my body change and transform into something that had the potential for competing and I took advantage of that and took it to the next level. I started in July of 2004 and in March 2005 I entered my first bodybuilding competition and won.

I actually do not overtrain in the gym. I take my time to do each rep with precise contraction and technique.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?
Doing my pre-contest diet my diet is grueling. I jump from having carbs - but not 220 grams or even 150 - only about 75 grams of carbs all day divided into 5 meals, for a couple of days then I jump to days with no carbs and only vegetables. It's very hard but the outcome is incredible. Basically I take a couple of weeks off after a show and eat what I want, but for the long part I am always on a diet.
I can't afford to gain to much as I do photo shoots. And also it will be harder for me to cut down if I decide to do a show. So I try to keep it lean. I'm not going to sit here and write a nutrition plan cause everybody is different, but here's an example:
Sample One Day Meal Plan:
1/2 Cup Oatmeal
1 Chicken Breast
Chicken Or Turkey, Or Lean Steak
Fish Or Turkey Or Chicken
* This is pre-contest
I eat what I want to moderation and only healthy foods; no Burger King or McDonalds or any fast food. I cook my food at home all the time and take it with me all the time where ever I go remember this is a lifestyle. This is my life. The way I choose to live it. But anyone can do this with willpower and determination.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?
Bodybuilding to me is a lifestyle. I love the way it makes me feel and look. It separates me from the rest of the world. It lets me push myself to the limit and see the changes it makes on my body and soul. It gives me the motivation to continue.
What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?
My plans are now for 2009: either Jr. Nationals, Jr. USAs or the Arnold Amateur; it all depends on my coach.
What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?
Don't ever quit. If your goal is to lose weight stick to it will be hard at first but your will power will pay off in the end. If your goal is to gain muscle it takes time don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen overnight.
