Everyone was telling me that Walden Farms was the best calorie free syrup on the market and I have to say, everyone was right. By far, hands down the most delicious syrups. The Carmel, Maple Walnut, and Chocolate are the BEST!!!!

Chocolate tastes like the texture of the cheap brand of cottage cheese you know the one where the curd doesn't even break apart. It then has this synthetic chemical taste unlike anything on this planet I can compare to. It leaves a little tingy aftertaste. Quite annoying flavor. Not very pleasant at all. No where like diet coke or sugar free gum. This laboratory frankenstein flavor really gets you wondering. Makes you kinda just wanna say f-this hop in your car and order a hot fudge sunday with chocolate on the bottom and on the top and question if having abs is really worth it. Tastes unlike any chocolate I have ever tasted! lol

It cannot be easy to make calorie-free syrups, dressings, dips and spreads and I bear this in mind when reviewing Walden Farms products. This syrup will never beat a sugar-filled chocolate syrup. Like most of Walden Farms products it has a thin texture and it does also have a slightly odd flavour to it that makes it undesirable to eat a lot of straight, unlike most chocolate syrups which are easily eaten alone when you're on a diet and desperate for sugar. Personally, I don't even like it enough to dip my strawberries in. I do find it great to add into my hot chocolates and believe adding it to almond milk would make for half-decent low-calorie chocolate milk. I also intend to make frozen yogurt with it so it will be like eating chocolate ice-cream, and I intend to mix it with greek yogurt without freezing also, as I'm hoping it will taste similar to chocolate yogurt. It would taste okay on pancakes and on top of ice-cream too. I am undecided as to whether I will buy this product again.

I don't how Walden Farms is actually doing those products and maybe it's better not to know but I was extremely pleasantly surprised by those syrups. I was expecting something disgusting but I was on prep and craving sweet stuff. I started off with the caramel syrup, which does taste like sweetener and a bit chemical, but on my eggwhites it was really good. Then tried the chocolate syrup and was even better. Not sure those can be considered healthy, there has to be something "off" with the 0 calorie thingy, but it kind of craved my sweet tooth while on prep ....

Surprisingly good considering their other syrups were just ok. Tastes great on bananas & apples, Oats... I wouldn't eat it alone though. All in all it's become a staple in my house. Great for Chocolate lovers like me. Just get creative with it. Not for everyone though... But for me, I love it!

Honestly, not good. If you really want the taste of chocolate or caramel I just don't think it's worth it. Doesn't taste right. I'd rather use PB or just not eat these sauces.

Tasted synthetic. But if you need that maple syrup flavour on your pancakes then not too bad. Better than no syrup. Great for zero calorie. The chocolate flavour isn't too bad, Prefer the chocolate to maple; wuill have to try other flavours!

I froze these syrups in icecube tins and stuck toothpicks in them to make "healthy" popsicles. It worked, it just made my mom throw up and my throat to feel horrible, again. I don't know how these 0 calories products are made, but don't put them in your body PLEASE.

Was on backorder for two weeks so I wish I just went to the store instead. Ordered with the maple syrup. When I received it 3 of the containers seals were broken so there was syrup covered in the three that were broken and I had to refrigerate immediately. Other than being disappointed with my order coming half open and messy in the box, the flavours are not bad

Their original flavor syrup is my favorite! and taste better than sugar free syrup in my opinion. amazing alternative to syrup when you're looking to get your calories from other sources (AKA THE FOOD!)

The syrup does have a "sugar free" taste to it. LIke you would find with many other low cal products. I don't find that it leaves an after taste but it is delicious with protein bars, oatmeal, or cream of wheat. I'm sure this would also be delicious on ice cream. I've been known to top my white rice with this and it's almost like having sweet and sour sauce (ish - in my mind anyway). Just the right amount of sweetness and still tastes like strawberries. Edit: Chocolate - by itself it isn't terrible but not perfect. This is great to dip apples in though. Or to top cream of wheat or my crazy meringue sweet egg concoction that I have come up with during prep. Great as a topping. Just enough sweet and curbs that craving for chocolate. Definintely NOT chocolate though. So if you can have the real deal, take that. Caramel - it's not the real deal but the smell is on point and you can totally dip your apple slices in this. I like it. I think it is quite good for what it is. Blueberry - it's a bit acidic. Not quite the real blueberry taste you will get from making your own coolie or syrup. This has that artificial candy kind of flavor in my opinion but it does the trick when wanting a berry flavor and on prep. These syrups are saving my life in contest prep.

I have a whole shelf just for my caramel syrup, choc syrup, and pancake syrup. The pancake syrup is to die for. I could put a straw in the bottle and be one happy camper sipping all day lol my second favorite is the caramel.
