The plant is a rich source of chlorophyll and contains significant amounts of protein, fatty acids, fiber, nucleic acids, vitamins and minerals. Chlorella can have a variety of effects in the body and may even help support a healthy immune system.*

Alfalfa Grass (Medicago sativa) (leaf) 500 mg
Alfalfa grass is another one of the primary super green foods. It contains a unique amino acid called L-canavanine, which has a variety of effects in the body and can help support a healthy immune system.* Alfalfa also contains a variety of other compounds such as triterpene glycosides and isoflavonoids.

Barley Grass (Hordeum vulgare) (leaf) 500 mg
The combination of nutrients and enzymes found in barley grass make it one of the best super green foods. It delivers a variety of nutrients including high amounts of vitamins and enzymes.

Wheat Grass (Triticum aestivum) (leaf) 500 mg
Wheat grass is considered by many to be the king of all super green foods. Wheat grass contains high amounts of chlorophyll and may help support liver health.*

Ginkgo contains several active compounds including flavonoids, terpenoids and organic acids. Although many of ginkgo's constituents have intrinsic effects individually, there is evidence to suggest that the constituents work synergistically to produce more powerful effects than any individual constituent. Research suggests that ginkgo leaf flavonoids have antioxidant and free radical scavenging properties.*

Grape Seed (Vitis vinifera) Extract
Grape seeds contain phenolic compounds including oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), proanthocyanidins, flavonols and polyflavan-3-ols. Proanthocyanidins are responsible for producing the red color of grapes. Grape flavonoids have a wide variety of effects including supporting antioxidant, vasodilating and circulatory function.*

By far the worst tasting powder drink, protein shake, Gatorade mix, Creatine powder etc I have ever put in my mouth. I had two drinks, second one, I threw it back up...

I mix the vanilla chai with my chocolate protein shake in the morning. It tastes pretty good, so I would definitely recommend. I do wonder if I will get tired of the chai every morning, but unsure how the apple would taste with my chocolate.

I had ordered the vanilla chai the first time and thought it tasted nasty. I put cinnamon in it to get it down. This time I tried the sweet apple and it's really good. Hard to find greens with lots of things in it... not just 15 fruits/veg. I'm glad this is available.

The flavor isn't actually all that bad. It's not like a fruity drink but I was pleasantly surprised the first time I took this. I like mixing it in my pre-workout drink as that improves the flavor a lot. The ingredient profile, though, cannot be beaten. It's got everything you would want in a greens supplement and then some. I've been using this for a few months now and can honestly say I feel more healthy and I get sick less often (and with less severity) now that I take this. Great product!

Just tried this today. The taste amazing and nky what I expected. Its almost too sweet though and would taste fine with less. Really dig the tea taste. Wish it had more fibre in it but overall this will be good to get the needed nutrients.

Delicious and help me get the amount of greens my body needs. Smooth when you shake them in a bottle, and good in a blended drink too. Love them.

Just got my Greens Freak Vanilla Chai and drank it with 8 ounces of water per instructions. Have to say, the taste of this stuff is pretty rough. I have heard that it tastes better when mixed with protein powder. I am going to try mixing it with my Gold Standard in the morning and try it again. Also, since I just received it I'm not sure yet how it will impact my overall health. Plan to follow up with a more detailed review in a couple of weeks.

I am disabled and take presciption medications which slow digestion and metabolism. About 20 days ago I added Green Freak to my breakfast shake in an effort to help digestion and hopefully improve my energy/metabolism. I added Green Freak to my normal shake of 1 scoop of Optimum Nutrition French Vanilla Whey Protien, spinach, pineapple, blackberries, tumeric, ginger, banana and kale. I have noticed easier, more frequent bowel movements and more energy (don't feel bloated) about 8 days after adding it. Flavor is not an issue mainly due to other ingredients. Kind of harsh without them.

I've tried Magnum Nutraceuticals Performance Greens and Trace Minerals Greens Pak in the past. These were both Berry flavored and a little too sweet for me. It certainly made it so you didn't need to add something to it like fruit but I'm not too keen on overly sweet stuff. Anyhow thought I'd try the PharmaFreak as a change of pace. I bought the vanilla and the sweet apple but have only sampled the vanilla thus far. The flavor is fairly neutral and should mix well with whatever you want. I mix mine with Vanilla whey protein, almond milk, few stems of kale, and ice. I use a Ninja blender which does a great job mixing any powder and pulverizing any leafy greens added. The taste is good, slightly chalky, but most important to me not overly sweet. This shake provides an incredible buzz of energy for my a.m. workouts.

ingredient profile is why I bought and usually I can get around taste if it's not great but whether I mix with just water or throw in a shake with fruits/protein, it ends up making me want to throw it out. Green supplements usually aren't the greatest for taste, but i've had others that make it at least tolerable.
