Mega Hoodia , 60 Vcaps

I don't know why this has a low rating but I was never disappointed with a NOW product till now. I have been using it for a week and very simple I take it before dinner because I know that I loving at night and yes I eat less than usual when I use this and I don't think I'll use 2 pills also. This really helps you to eat less :)

I am surprised at the low rating! I have been taking Hoodia on and off for a few years now. It effectively suppressed my hunger so I don't overeat, binge, boredom snack, etc. The only thing I have to watch out for is it also suppresses my thirst, so I pay more attention to my water intake while taking Hoodia. Overall it works great for me!

Unfortunately I did not notice a suppression of appetite.

Unfortunately I can't recommend these capsules as they neither reduced nor eliminated my hunger. I really wanted to like this product - I'd read good reviews elsewhere online and anticipated similar results. I took the capsules before meals as directed on the label, and increased the dosage to 750 mg (3 capsules) on my third attempt. The baseball analogy is appropriate here: three strikes and you're out. I tried the hoodia on three separate occasions and each time . . . nothing. My hunger was not diminished at ALL. On a happier note, I can recommend an alternative which did work - quickly and satisfactorily. Glucomannan Powder (available here on bodybuilding.com in capsules, and elsewhere online in loose form) is taken with water on an empty stomach. The effect is instantaneous. Glucomannan is simply processed yam root, called 'konjac' or 'konnyaku', and used extensively in Asian countries. Like hoodia, it purports to achieve feelings of fullness, thus reducing and/or eliminating hunger. However, unlike hoodia this product actually lives up to its claims. I immediately felt full within seconds of taking it and remained that way as time progressed. Two hours later and I still wasn't hungry! The benefits of konjac products in general are many - low in calories, high in fiber, and few, if any carbohydrates. Glucommanan specifically is an ideal satiety agent because it has no carbs, calories or sugars whatsoever. It's a guilt-free water soluble fiber. When using capsules take as directed; if using loose power (as I do), briskly stir one level teaspoon into eight ounces of water and drink IMMEDIATELY. Glucommanan solidifies then gels almost instantly, so consume it right away - i.e., stir for one or two seconds, then drink up! This is a long review, but my purpose was twofold; document my experience and offer a substitute if one was necessary. Glucommanan works wonders for me so I use that now instead of the hoodia, which did absolutely nothing. I hope my review was helpful and best of luck in your health and wellness journey!

I've taken this product before and recommended it to a friend as well. It really does stop the cravings for food and you feel full. When taken with a meal it helps you to stay full for hours. One pill wasn't really working for me but when I took 2 with a meal it worked like a charm. Great product, great price, and it actually does what it says.

The reason I am taking this product is because I have started the ardurous process of loosing 30lbs recently. My main problem is my eating habits. I am an emotional eater. I didn't even realize it until I had thought about it. I can't walk by Blue Bell Great Divide Ice Cream with out giving in, untill now. I take it before I go work out in the morning so I don't feel hungry. Also it has a wee bit of caffeine. I can't take normal supplements with loads of caffeine becasue it makes my IBS go crazy... and that isn't fun. I also bought a liquid form of hoodia from whole foods that I use through out the day so I don't have to intake more caffeine. I love it though, I can say no without any problems. It helps me think about what I am eating and slow down. I recommend it.
