One get exactly what you expect - flaxseed meal! And it is absolutely delicious! This is a healthy fat source I like to add to oatmeal, cottage cheese, and shakes. It adds a great consistency and rich creamy flavor. It has numerous health benefits that come along with it too. I highly recommend this product!

Much better alternative that flax oil, especially if you are already mixing shakes. Great macro content, super cheap way to add great fat to your shakes. Taste is slightly nutty, which is to be expected as it is ground seeds and unflavored. Not a dry powder like most supps due to the fat content, but nor is it a butter or clumpy. The meal is also more coarse that you might expect, more like cornmeal than flour. It mixes well, but will settle out of you don't keep it shaken/stirred. If new interested to cook with it, but haven't.

No real taste. Blends well.

Flax seed oil is a great source of EFA's- Omega-3's, and Omega-6's. It's a source of extra calories when bulking, and should be a staple of any bulking diet, as you can get your "good fats" from this. I'm a big fan of NOW Foods extensive list of supplements that are reasonably priced.
