Nature's Best set out to create a product that didn't hide anything from its customers. We wanted you to know that you're purchasing the best product available on the market. Our protein source is clearly identified as 100% Pure Whey Protein Isolate. We didn't try to confuse you by listing a protein blend that doesn't tell you how much of the product is superior whey protein isolate and how much is whey protein concentrate or sweet whey or some other inferior protein source. It is instantized so it can be taken anywhere and be easily mixed with a spoon.

In addition, Isopure is rich in branched chain amino acids and glutamine.

Each Serving of Isopure Contains:

  • 1404mg of Isoleucine
  • 3094mg of Leucine
  • 1430mg of Valine
  • 2.57g of L-Glutamine

Athletes tend to need more protein than sedentary individuals to achieve positive nitrogen balance. Most recommendations range from 1.5-2.0 grams of protein per kilogram of body weight per day.

I have tried a ton of proteins, as has every one, and this is my favorite. I put a scoop of unflavored in my coffee in the morning and it blends so well and since I like my coffee black, I like that it doesn’t affect the taste. I always come back to this protein.

Thank goodness a company makes an unflavored isolate. Not saying other whey isolates aren't good. Just that when they add in all of the flavoring (not all are natural), then you sort of go against the intent of trying to be healthy. True, you can add fruits, etc. But this stuff plain with a splash of MCT oil and my morning gets started. Please keep this product going!

Great product, gives you versatility in what you want it to taste like, I personally do a shake with almond milk and a whole banana. As far as results, has been a good product, only other supplement I use a BCAA.

Very good clean protein. I take it in the morning mixed with my Cream of Wheat with some honey and cinnamon. The result is a flavored oatmeal texture.

I've used Nature's Best unflavored for the past three years and have nothing but good results. I personally do not have a sweet tooth, but if you like your protein supplements tasting like a dessert, this might not be for you. I was looking for something where I had more control the "strength" of the flavor, rather than just adding more fluid. I will add it to soups, sauces I cook with, or even sprinkle it over a salad. To blend a smoothie I will add various fruit for flavoring, or go with chocolate almond milk and I'm done. Very good product I believe.

This is the worst tasting stuff ever! By unflavored, they mean not vanilla or chocolate. It has a horrible taste! I added a tsp of vanilla just to make it tolerable. I couldn’t imagine adding it to anything but water. It would ruin your food or drink. Yuck!

I'd done the research in the early 2000s and learned that Nature's Best Isopure Why Protein Isolate is actually some of the best stuff on the market. I also learned one year after doing a fast that it's often advised to people who've had stomach (or gastoral bypass) surgery because it's natural and, like I'd learned in my studies, some of the best stuff out there for you. So I've been using this brand for over a decade. I used to get the flavored (and they have some really good tasting flavors), but noticed that they all have sucrolose (one even had some Chinese stuff that I had to look up (2 or 3 words). Either way, I also don't like artificial sweeteners, so when I'd learned that this has about 3 ingredients, I jumped on it. Flavor: It actually tastes more like powdered milk (it's protein from milk, which makes sense). It's also creamy. Mix: They have a video that shows somebody mixing a scoop into a glass of water, but I'll tell you, no matter how many times I've tried that, it always turns out milky and with whey chunks. I don't know, maybe their tap has different stuff in it than Chicago tap, but it never worked the same for me. -I have found that it does dissolve better in warm liquid. Also, if you use almond milk, mix the powder in a little real milk first, then pour in the almond milk, bc for some reason, it doesn't dissolve as well in almond milk. -Another trick: after shaking or stirring it up for a bit, let it sit for a few minutes, then stir or shake it again. This gives it time to dissolve some, and will mix up better the 2nd time. -Or just stick it into a blender - that works every time. I do wish this came in those larger (5Lb?)buckets, like the other flavors, but for some reason, they don't. I have not tried to add it to food. (to add protein, say if I eat pasta, I'll just mix 1-2 scoops in a drink on the side). I would definitely recommend this to anybody who's looking for a good whey protein isolate that won't mess them up.

I was tired of super sweet protein shakes and I was looking for something unflavored, however, this has a very strange taste. I added strawberries, blueberries and it still did not mask the strange flavor.

I was was tired of all the sweet protein powder I'd been consuming and just wanted something flavorless. Some friends suggested this and I'm glad I tried it. I don't like feeling like I'm having a dessert every time I need some protein! This isn't completely flavorless though- in my opinion it has a very milky flavor, which is fine by me. I will definitely purchase it again.

I'm about to order my 3rd bag of this. I've always been repulsed by protein supps, they sit in my stomach like a lump of undigested dough. This Isopure however does not do that. I just mix a scoop with coconut milk, no stomach trouble from this at all. Only reason I don't give it a 10 is because no matter how much you mix it there are still some small lumps you'll have to swallow but that's pretty much the case with all protein supps. I was ordering from Amazon but too many reviews were claiming that what they received was a fake from China- yeah no thanks! Also, shipping with bodybuilding.com was extremely fast!

I absolutely enjoy the Nature's Best products. I started with the Vanilla flavor, assuming that any bad taste will be masked, I was wrong. So, I switched to Unflavored, and the taste is still horrible. Yet, I like the product and the positive benefits. I must note that I hate milk, and most diary products. Thus, I my view may be a bit biased in regard to taste. The only way that I can down it is with a shot of soda. Don't judge me, but all protein powders are disgusting to me, and that is the only way I can stomach it without a gag reflex. Overall, the product is great, but I was hoping the Unflavored would be tasteless. Oh well!

It's nice to have a tasteless protein, but my issue with all of my Isopure Protein is that I can't put it into my Vitamix and blend it on high to remove any chunks. Any time I turn it past a 5, the entire mixture turns into a foam, whether it's just water or almond milk, banana, and ice. It's good, but I've never had this issue with any other proteins. I'm going to try blending first and then adding it in on a lower setting and hopefully that fixes it.

I often add this in to my oats either in a bowl or a shake and it's perfect, it doesn't add any flavor or bad taste, just the protein!

I have tried a lot of protein powders in my life and this is by far the very worst one for a smoothie or shake! I am going to try to bake with it, leaving out any extra salt because my package came with 260mg Salt, almost 100 more mg of salt than the online label claims. I felt like my smoothie had a salt lick blended into it, and so I poured it down the drain.

All the benefits without all the nasty artificial flavoring bitter aftertaste. Add to vanilla almond milk, a little bit of french vanilla creamer, makes for a great shake packed with protein that doesn't taste like flavored dirt. Started with the 1 lb package, just bought the 3 pound package. Beware of Amazon Chinese knockoffs (the clue is when the item says packing may vary, usually means a Chinese knockoff filled with who knows what). Amazon might be cheaper, but with them, they don't care about anything except shipping and billing.
