Ive been bodybuilding for quite some time now, I'm 6'4, 260lbs, 15% bf. And this is IN MY OPINION the BEST meal replacement/protein shake on the market. I don't even mess with whey protein anymore. What I have found, is that my body needs NUTRIENTS, not just protein. This shake has so much packed into it, its mindboggling, all organic nonetheless. I usually take 1-2 of these a day; 1 in the morning and 1 after my weight training sessions in the evening. I 1 FULL scoop with plain almond milk in a shaker cup. The people who say it tastes bad are idiots. They are accustomed to the mainstream crap full of sugar and sugar alcohols. This shake tastes amazing, specifically vanilla. The consistency is also amazing. No clumps. If this company would offer me an opportunity to be a brand ambassador for them, or sponsor me, etc, I'd do it. Do yourself a favor. Feed your muscles/body the nutrients it NEEDS and use this product.

This is by far my favorite meal replacement shake. It's the only one that has everything I'm looking for. I tried Vegansmart, but it bothered my stomach. I see that a lot of people are complaining about the taste and texture, but when I read what they put it with I get why they are having a bad experience. Don't put this with water, juice, or (shudder) coffee. I blend this with chocolate soy, almond, or (my favorite because of the creaminess) cashew milk. Sometimes I put peanut butter with it. Either way it tastes amazing! The only bad thing I can say is that it never fills me up. I'm always left wanting something more filling. I wish they would make a chocolate peanut butter one. That would be awesome!

Ive been using this stuff for a month now. I will say the stuff works BUT the taste is not great. I mix mine with water and I have to drink a glass of water after taking it because it leaves a nasty taste in my mouth. It makes you very full. I will buy this again even though the taste is not that great.

I read reviews before I bought this, so I guess i'm in the minority but I hate this product. I've tried this with water, milk, and in my coffee. I've hated it with all three. It's gritty, it doesn't mix well at all, and the chocolate tasted like slightly sweetened cardboard. It leaves this slimy snot-like residue in whatever container you're drinking out of. I don't think I can choke down any more of this stuff.

Vanilla - The vanilla flavor definitely tastes amazing. Does not have that artificial vanilla flavor that most protein/meal powders have so it's not overly sweet but it is a delicious vanilla flavor that is great to have either plain or with peanut butter, almond butter, banana, blueberries etc. I have to be honest it is a tiny bit grainy, you will notice it but it still goes down smooth. I have a giant appetite and a pretty fast metabolism so I usually add two tablespoons of organic peanut butter or an organic banana. I have this meal everyday and it always fills me up and holds me over until my next solid meal. I just always physically feel great after taking this product, super easy and quick to make, super convenient for in between meals or on the go. I never have those horrible "I'm starving shaky feelings" afterwards like you get with most protein powders. I just have to say that I have been ordering from bodybuilding.com consistently since 2010 and this is actually my first review that I just had to leave because I am so happy with this product and I hope others read my review, buy it, use it and feel great as well. May seem a bit pricey but it is absolutely worth every penny to make sure what you are putting in your body is safe. YOU HAVE TO READ THE LABELS! ORGANIC, RAW, VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE, SOY FREE, DAIRY FREE, NO SWEETENER, NO PRESERVATIVES, NO ARTIFICIAL FLAVORS, NO ADDED SUGARS, NO FILLERS!!! You can not beat that! This is by far the absolute best protein/meal shake I've had yet and I am beyond impressed with the quality this product and I have to give a lot of credit to this Garden of Life. I am very happy to have found this brand and I will definitely be ordering more supplements from Garden of Life.

If you're used to those other protein shakes that are filled with artificial sweeteners (that are harmful for your overall health) you might have a problem with this protein shake. If you're used to juicing and creating your own fruit smoothies you'll love this shake. I love it, it smells bad...YES! But it taste great. A bit grainy, but that's because it's fill with superfoods our bodies need. You don't buy these shakes for the taste, you drink them for the benifits it has for your bodies! (If you don't like this one try Garden of Lifes Sport Whey Protein...it taste like 1% milk with water. GOOD STUFF! No fillers and sweeteners and hormones etc. (Give your bodies the best)

Like other people have said, it can take some getting used to if you expect it to be like MuscleMilk but the benefits to it outweigh the organic taste and texture. I mix mine with some frozen fruit or spiced chai tea ice cubes to enhance the flavor.

I LOVE this stuff. I was worried it would taste bad based on some of the reviews, but I think it tastes amazing (and actually keeps me full!). Before going vegan, I tried numerous whey/casein protein powders, which included some pretty nasty tasting ones, so I was shocked by how great this tasted in comparison. Here's the thing: if your definition of "tastes terrible" includes things that taste bitter/chemically, then this stuff doesn't taste terrible. The people who think this tastes terrible are the people who aren't used to or don't like "healthy" or "green" tasting things. If you can handle a shake with a couple handfuls of spinach or kale blended in, you can handle this stuff. Try it with some frozen bananas, yum.

I like the flavour it tastes like raw cocoa when mixed with water and it is definitely a complete meal. I mix half of scoop with 12 oz water but you can add unsweetened almond milk and other fruits to thicken and sweeten the content, but I love it. It reminds me of dark chocolate. Great meal replacement, I have it for breakfast and after a workout.

I just bought it last week, and I have started off with a scoop in the morning. It is VERY filling. I mix it with unsweetened almond milk (or water, sometimes). This stuff is amazing! Yes, it tastes very healthy (I would describe it as "earthy") and it is a tad grainy, but it is honestly delicious. I look forward to when it is my time to drink it. You can feel all the nutrition fueling and working in your body. I LOVEEE this! Just wish it came in a bigger container and it wasn't so pricey :P.

So I wanted a protein added to my diet that didn't taste like a powdery substance. This is definitely a great product to try because it has so many nutrients. I have only been taking this drink for a week and have noticed the difference in my skin and hair. I use this as a protein smoothie in the morning and one thing I wasn't a fan of was how thick this drink so its very difficult to mix it in a typical blender bottle. So I started using a blender, added more milk, only used a single scoop of the powder and added some fruits to lighten the drink a little bit. Now I can finally say I love the product.

This is my favorite protein powder! Because it is plant based, it doesn't taste chalky like most protein powder (to me). I mix it in with my fruit smoothie every morning. In my smoothie I use one fuji apple, 6 strawberries, 4-5 dates, almonds, walnuts, spinach, cranberries, oatmeal, juice from a a wedge of lemon, fresh apple juice, & ice. The fiber content is also amazing. Must be sure to drink lots of water after drinking this.
