Green Coffee Extract (containing Chlorogenic Acid)
Green coffee extract (GCE) is not a type of stimulant. GCE is extracted from
coffee beans that have not yet been roasted. The chlorogenic acid and caffeic
acid in GCE have been clinically studied to have several beneficial effects on
weight loss.* Studies suggest that GCE is an effective nutraceutical in helping
to support weight loss in adults and in particular visceral fat, for the following reasons:
Inhibition of fat creation, increased fat oxidation and increased metabolism.*
Garcinia Cambogia with 50% HCA (+ Hydroxycitric acid)
Garcinia Cambogia is derived from plants that grow throughout southeast
Asia. The active component in terms of weight loss with Garcinia Cambogia
is hydroxycitric acid. Several studies suggest that hydroxycitric
acid plays an important role in the regulation of endogenous lipid
biosynthesis (fat accumulation).* Additionally, Research suggests that
Garcinia Cambogia may be useful for the prevention and reduction
in the accumulation of visceral fat.*
Nelumbo nucifera leaves extract (NNE)
Nelumbo nucifera, is also known as Indian lotus, sacred lotus, and
the bean of India. In Chinese ancient medicine (TCM) it has been
cultivated and grown for thousands of years. Recently, an
examination of its chemical constituents found that it contains
several Flavonoids. One of those constituents is higenamine a
beta-2 adrenergic agonist. Research suggests that beta-2 adrenergic
agonists may helpful in reducing subcutaneous fat.*
Razberi-K® Raspberry Ketones
Research suggests that this aromatic compound supports
thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue.* Additionally
research indicates that raspberry ketones increase cellular
concentrations of adiponectin, a protein that increases skeletal
muscle fatty acid oxidation and also markedly reduces the amount of
lipid accumulation in fat cells.*
Caralluma fimbriata is an edible cactus that grows in Africa, the Middle
East, Asia, and India. It has been used for millennia by hunter-gatherers
to reduce hunger during times of food scarcity. A review of the scientific
literature reveals that the genus Caralluma contains pregnane glycosides.
In studies from other plant species, Pregnane glycosides appear to modulate
food intake (support healthy appetite level) by decreasing the activity of one or more of
the hunger hormones.*
Yohimbine is an alkaloid naturally found in the Pausinystalia yohimbe
plant. Yohimbine HCL is an Alpha 2-adrenergic antagonist. Simply put, in the
fat cell, the alpha 2 adrenergic receptor is the off switch for fat release, as
such Yohimbine HCL being an alpha 2-adrenergic antagonist helps blocks the
off switch, creating fat release.
