I bought this belt as I was in need of a new training belt. I have taken an interest in lever power belts. The material of the belt is OK. It's not great. The leather material isn't the best. If you are a guy that sweats a lot, then you are going to have a hard time with this belt, as it absorbs it like a sponge, turning the material (especially where the lever is) to spaghetti, twisting the leather. And yes, it seems that like most people who bought this belt, one of the pins loves to come off. It's like it wants to see what you are doing. You can slide it back in or just use a dumbbell and whack it a couple of times. However, it will always slide off. Right now, this belt is starting to become useless, as I am a sweaty guy and this belt has twisted and morphed into something else (where the lever is located). I have used other belts made with the same material but never had it twist into spaghetti. I wouldn't recommend this belt to anyone but I made my choice, and I have to stick with it.

After 10 months of rare use the lever broke. Waste of money. Shiek or bodybuilding should fix the quality of the lever.

first of all, the belt is great for a couple of days.... I only use this for squatting within a few days I notice that it was hard to lock. The pins were coming out making it hard for the belt to lock. I would use a 2.5 pound to gentle push it back in so the belt would lock. I didn't mind this but after today, the lever completely broke off randomly... it wasn't even completely lock on to my waist yet. I had this since Nov 14th I believe and it lasted for about 3 months.... I am so speechless. I will be calling bodyBuilding tomorrow for a refund. I should of done a lot more research before hinting my gf that I wanted this belt.

I have had this belt for 8 months and use it twice a week. Today during a 425 lb dead lift the belt prongs on the lever broke off. After inspecting it and seeing the actual metal it is made of (looks like very cheap cast metal) I will not be calling shiek to replace it...I will be buying a new pronged (traditional, non lever) belt, probably from bestbelts.net unless someone can point me to another really good belt for powerlifting.
