	Slower is better--Casein proteins are the dominant proteins in milk. Like whey, caseins are complete proteins so they supply all of the essential amino acids in the amounts necessary for muscle growth and maintenance. Unlike whey, casein proteins are digested and release their amino acid subunits more slowly.
