Brad Schoenfeld, M.Sc., C.S.C.S., is an internationally renowned fitness expert and widely regarded as one of the leading authorities on body composition training (muscle development and fat loss). Brad earned his masters degree in kinesiology/exercise science from the University of Texas and is currently pursuing his Ph.D. where his research focus is on the mechanisms of muscle hypertrophy and their application to resistance training. He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), and serves as an associate editor for their Strength and Conditioning Journal.

Brad is president of Global Fitness Services, where he works with physique athletes on optimizing their body composition. He also is an adjunct professor in the exercise science department at Lehman College in the Bronx, NY and the natural sciences department at Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He has published over 20 peer-reviewed articles on various topics related to exercise and sports nutrition, and has been featured in hundreds of consumer magazines articles and television shows.
