| Article Summary:
4Ever Fit 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer
4Ever Fit 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer is one of many weight gain formulas which I have tried in recent times. Weight gainers are not desired by some since they generally have a high volume of carbohydrates or sugar or both. Personally, I would rather have a supplement sweetened with sugar versus aspartame, although there are other sweeteners out there that can be used which are even better still.
As it is, I like using weight gain formulas as part of my bodybuilding diet, but I use them in moderation and seldom use the recommended serving size that the companies detail - largely due to the fact that it is my impression that companies encourage such serving sizes in order to result in more sales.
The large servings will require frequent purchasing of the gainers or other supplements in question and are not necessarily reflective of what an ideal bodybuilding diet is.
I would like everyone reading this to be aware of how supplement companies encourage such consumption and to try to make your own judgment on how much of a particular protein or meal replacement/gainer supplement should be used rather than following the instructions. Also, on the topic of sweetened gainer products, I like to include cocoa in my shakes at times, which I find make it very sweet tasting.
Be sure to check out the variety of gainer products available:
I will check out a few product claims below and give some comments about what I think of each of them:
This is a very good quality for a supplement to have in my opinion. Others may not care as much, but I always consider the absence of aspartame or other artificial sweeteners to be a good thing. I would prefer to just order mild tasting chocolate protein powder and mix it with cocoa for taste.

4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer offers a cold cross-flow ultra-filtered and advanced micro-filtered whey protein isolate blend. This provides the highest value in branch-chain amino acids, which results in building and retaining muscle tissue.
These types of claims are more often seen in protein powder products - Gaspari Nutrition's IntraPro came to mind. I have only recently started consuming BCAAs as part of my Higher Power Nutrition stack, and I have to say they have most definitely had a positive effect on my training and mental well being. I would say seeking BCAAs in a gainer product is not necessarily required, but certainly could not hurt matters.

Added to the protein is a blend of carbohydrates and fats, with a carb-to-protein ratio of 1.5 and 5 g of fat per serving.
This is a pretty decent macronutrient profile in my opinion and I should point out that it is very difficult to find a gainer product with a perfect breakdown of calories and you can't expect all of them to be perfectly healthy. Whey protein powder products would be much more likely to have a good matrix of ingredients. However, for a gainer, the 4Ever Whey blend is not too bad.

4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer is a mass-gaining formula designed to pack bulk onto people even with extremely high metabolisms.
I hope this is the truth because as it is, my metabolism is extremely fast and I would like to use a gainer which can help me put on mass by giving me a boost in calories which will put me at a consumption level over and above that which equals the expenditure of calories by my body throughout the day.

If I can hit that level, I will have calories to spare to build muscle, and that is what I am looking for. If the 4Ever Fit blend can do this, I would be extremely grateful for that.
The Isolate Gainer puts an emphasis on the amount of protein per serving because it is a nutrient proven to assist in building and repairing muscle tissue. High carbs help protein absorption, and added fats feed growing muscle tissue while boosting the calorie content.
This is an interesting statement which is essentially stating that all of the macros help in some form or another to build muscle. This is true, but at the same time, these macros are available in a variety of foods. Generally, gainer products are not considered to be particularly clean food items and most would prefer whey protein products if that is what they are looking for.
4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer Highlights:
- Highest Whey Protein Isolate per serving
- 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer is aspartame free
- Mixes Instantly with Spoon or Shaker Cup
- Great Protein-to-Carb Ratio
- Great for active people requiring extra nutrients
Furthermore, for those interested in gainer products, we should look at the cost effectiveness of the supplement and the rough caloric breakdown in a little more detail in order to see if it is the gainer product for you.
You should note that all gainers are going to be less clean in terms of calorie content than all whey products, but that is not to say that there are no decent gainers out there. Among these two considerations let's begin by first analyzing the cost effectiveness of the product as detailed below.
In the tub of 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer, a two pound container has 3.648 servings based on the recommended 250 gram serving (two rounded scoops), which of course I would recommend is a little much to consume in one serving and generally speaking, is something that companies recommend in order to encourage consumption (and profits).
That two scoop serving contains 920 calories, so that works out to 3,356 calories per container. For the price of two pounds for $22.99, that breaks down to the following:
- $1 for 146 calories
- $5 for 730 calories
- $10 for 1,460 calories
This doesn't look too unreasonable to me on first glance, but I will now compare it to my favorite gainer (thus far), that being Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass:
- $1 for 512 calories
- $5 for 2565 calories
- $10 for 5130 calories
Those figures are based on the purchase of a 12 pound tub for $38.99. So you would need to buy a slightly larger quantity and pay a little more to get those prices, but I should also point out that six pounds only costs $22.99, so you get four more pounds (three times the net quantity of gainer powder) of what I would consider a better product for the same price. Of course, I leave it to the user to make the decision for themselves. The 4Ever Fit blend is a pretty solid product in my opinion.
The 4Ever Fit 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer come in the flavors below:
- Chocolate Shake
- Vanilla Shake
I ordered a two pound tub in the Chocolate Shake flavor and I'm happy that I did. I have to be honest - as much as I would like to include a variety of flavors in this review database for the purpose of completeness, the reality of the matter is that I really don't care for any flavor other than chocolate.
I have tried vanilla for a few brands and it is alright and generally tastes pretty good when mixed in a blender with orange juice and ice, but the fruit flavors are the worst of them all since it is pretty difficult to synthesize fruit flavor in a lab insofar as I can tell.
In other words, it is easier to produce chocolate and vanilla flavors, rather than say strawberry or banana. In any case, my preference is chocolate in almost all cases.
The 4Ever Fit shakes were very good - I thought they were just about perfect, although I would have to say my favorite gainer blend so far would have to be Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass, which I ordered, also in chocolate flavor.
I liked the taste of the 4Ever Fit shakes which I made in a blender with milk. I found them to be just about ideal, although I think adding a little cocoa to them to sweeten them would make them exactly as I liked.
As of this writing, I have a 4Ever Fit shake in front of me. I do not have any cocoa at the moment, but what I do have is a shake mixed with 2% milk and hot chocolate which contains cocoa and generally tastes roughly the same.
I find the shakes are better tasting with the hot chocolate and I would recommend cocoa as well. It makes for a nice treat which I personally actually look forward to drinking once or twice a day - the key is moderation of course, and I don't necessarily think that you should drink as many servings as the company recommends, but a couple of shakes a day would do you pretty well I imagine. At least it does for me.
I made all of my these shakes in a blender with milk and I found them to mix perfectly well every time. I would mix them alone in milk as described, and twice I mixed them in that same way but also added a scoop of Six Star Muscle Professional Strength Whey Protein. They also mixed pretty well together, so I can't complain about this particular category.
Mixing it with the hot chocolate also mixed perfectly well in the blender and is my preferred method of preparing this great blend.
To write an Overall Review of any given supplement, I must consider a number of factors which I believe the supplement consumer will want to hear about the most. In other words, I will summarize the content of this review as best as I can and give an overall grade for the supplement.
In terms of taste and solubility, the 4Ever Fit 4Ever Whey - Isolate Gainer met my expectations. In terms of overall caloric content, I also deem the product to be satisfactory in relation to other gainer products and is roughly what I would expect from such a product.
My last consideration would be cost effectiveness. I feel that the Isolate Gainer is reasonable, but is expensive compared to Serious Mass by Optimum. Therefore, I would say that in comparison to Serious Mass, Isolate Gainer only rates a C. However, compared to other products on the market, I would give it a B, mainly because it does taste good and mixes well, at least based on my experience with the Chocolate Shake flavor.
Overall, I would recommend this product, although my personal favorite would still be Serious Mass, and even still - I have to once again encourage the readers to consume whole foods for the majority of their diet since supplements are just that - supplements to a regular healthy diet. So my final grade for this product would be a B and I would use it again.
Overall Grade: B
