Cassie Smith is a freelance writer living in Boise, Idaho.  Smith earned her BA in English at Eastern Oregon University in 2008 and her MA in English at Boise State University in 2011. In July 2015, Smith competed at the CrossFit Games. She is also a national-level weightlifter and a USA Weightlifting sports performance coach.
