Protein blends are all the rage these days, but you can make them just as easily as buy them. The fast-digesting protein found in a whey isolate or concentrate delivers the goods to build muscle quickly, while the slow-digesting casein common to yogurt and other dairy products helps maintain this muscle-building environment throughout the night.

  • ½ cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 scoop(s) vanilla whey protein powder
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • 1 oz walnuts, chopped
  • 1 tbsp water

  1. Combine Greek yogurt and protein powder in bowl. Begin mixing, and add water as necessary until a pudding-like consistency is achieved.
  2. Top with blueberries and walnuts.
