How Did You Get Started?

I joined the wrestling team, and every other day we would go to the gym and work out. At first I did powerlifting, to get stronger, but when I saw Arnold Schwarzenegger's and Franco Columbo's pictures, I wanted to be just like them. From that day on, I went to the book store and read about different workout techniques and nutrition.

What Workout Plan Worked Best For You?

At first I had almost no biceps, so I worked on them every day. Later I found out that a muscle needs about 72 hours to recover, so I came up with this:

  • Day 1: Morning Abs, afternoon Biceps, Triceps and Forearms.
  • Day 2: Morning Abs, afternoon Quads, Calves and Hamstrings.
  • Day 3: Morning Abs, afternoon Front Deltoids, Rear Deltoids and Traps.
  • Day 4: Morning Abs, afternoon Cardio exercise and any weak part I might have.
  • Day 5: Morning Abs, afternoon Chest, Lats and Back.
  • Day 6: OFF And the cycle starts again.

What Nutrition Plan Has Worked Best For You?

At first I did not have a nutrition plan, but now I stick to the high protein and high calorie diet. It is important to eat whole foods such as whole wheat bread. I also eat a lot of dairy products such as milk, cheese and eggs. Any type of meat is included in every one of my major meals.

Eating foods that are high in protein every 2.5 - 3 hours is very important. I try to consume 25 - 40 grams of protein every few hours because large amounts of protein will not be fully digested. The stomach can only digest about 50 grams of protein every few hours, and the rest will go to waste.

What Supplements Have Given You The Greatest Gains?

Supplements don't really help me much, but I do take protein supplements. The reason is because I consume enough protein and creatine from foods like chicken breast, red meat and fish (salmon). I only take supplements when I'm working out and only enough to maintain a daily 160 gram protein diet.

Why do you love Bodybuilding?

I love everything there is about bodybuilding. I love getting the pump, I love the results and goals, and I love that cling sound that the iron dumbbells make.

What Are Your Future Bodybuilding Plans?

My goals are very specific. I want to win the Mr. Universe title, Mr. World title, and Mr. Ironman title. I am also planing on building 20" arms and the most muscular physique I can achieve.

What One Tip Would You Give Other Bodybuilders?

I would strongly recommend to point out your weaknesses so you can overcome them and set goals that you can achieve. I also recommend to stick to a strict diet. Every muscle is just as important as the next, so do not concentrate more on one muscle group than the other. You can make an exception to parts that need to be brought up.

Who Are Your Favorite Bodybuilders?

My all time favorite bodybuilders are Arnold Schwarzenegger, Franco Columbo and Lee Priest because they are a huge inspiration to this wonderful sport, and they definitely made their mark in bodybuilding.
