Chocolate milk is a great drink, but all other options are high in sugar, meant for kids, and don’t have quite enough protein. That’s why we started Slate. Using only natural ingredients and milk sourced from family-owned farms, our milks offer 75% less sugar than other chocolate milk, 17g of protein, and electrolytes… but most importantly, our drinks are delicious.

Product Benefits

  • Helps prevent muscle breakdown*
  • Easy-Digesting, Fast-Absorbing

  • Helps meet daily protein needs*

Key Ingredients

We use Ultra-Filtered Skim Milk to create our better-for-you chocolate milks. Ultrafiltration is a natural process in which lactose sugars, and a little bit of water, are ‘filtered’ from milk. This leaves us with a very slightly condensed (though still very much liquid), low sugar, lactose free milk base.

Slate Milk Key Ingredient

Supports Your Goals

Milk is naturally roughly 82% casein protein and 18% whey protein. This helps with not only muscle building, but also controlling appetite.*

About The Brand

Tired of high sugar, artificial kid’s chocolate milks, Co-Founders Manny and Josh teamed up to create an all-natural chocolate milk they could drink every day. After a two year journey including a successful Kickstarter campaign, a year of R&D, and an appearance on ABC’s Shark Tank, Slate was finally launched in late 2019!
