Muscle Freak is perfect for those who are a bit stim sensitive or trying to reduce their daily caffeine. the added amino acid and multi vitamin complexes are really nice inclusions that should be welcomed. Muscle Freak is designed to support performance, growth and recovery and fulfills all of these functions quite well. the Fruit punch flavoring is pretty good and mixes well....overall, this is well worth trying.

If you are new to the pre workout game this is a good place to start. Mainly focus good amount of aminos. Decent amount of caffeine as a starter pre workout. Not that much of a pump product though. If you are the type to have citrulline, beta alanine, and creatine on hand you can mix your own preworkout with this product. Fruit punch flavor I am not a big fan of in general but tasted ok. Overall a good pre workout to have on hand for that mind muscle connection and focus thoughtout the workout.

if youre looking to reduce your stim intake than Muscle Freak should be seriously considered. with three forms of ginseng and 200 mg of caffeine the energy provided is surprisingly effective. (and im a stim lover) Muscle Freak also contains a multi vitamin complex and 5 grams of bcaa per serving which is a nice touch and can always be used. ive been using this almost daily for a couple weeks now and still find it to be quite sufficient. this is worth trying.

This is a great preworkout that I looked forward to using. It has some added Aminos and vitamins which other similar products don't usually have. I hope they add a full dosing of BCAAs in the future so i can get a full recommended serving size. The main positives I experienced were increased focus and a solid pump. The focus was well maintained throughout the workout and I wanted to keep hitting the weights hard. It gave a good enough pump to maintain throught the workout. I did not have a crazy caffeine rush which I liked and I had steady energy through the workout and post workout. No stomach issues or energy crashes which was great! The fruit punch is pretty standard and tastes good. The powder mixed well and I didn't really have an issue with mixability. Overall a solid preworkout for the price and ingredient profile! Try this out if you're looking to try something new with some added ingredients most pre workouts don't include.

Stuff isn't bad at all. I got the chance to try this a few back and thought I'd throw up a review. Flavor is alright. I'll agree with the other guy that it has a kids vitamin taste to it. It's not bad though. It mixes pretty well with just a tad of residue at the bottom. I added a little less water than the instructions said though. It not overpowering either. So if you want to add things to it you can. Or if you feel it's just right then great! Decent pump from it and nice smooth energy. No bloating or bathroom trips after usage. Not too bad on prove either! Just remember everyone is different. I've been taking pre for a while so I have a slight tolerance.

Only reason I'm giving this a 9 is because of the artificial sweetener. I have to say, I was skeptical about this product as a preworkout because it does not contain any pump products at all. Only caffeine and multivitamin content. Well, to my mistake this is a bomb product! If you are the type to have citrulline, beta alanine, and creatine on hand you can mix your own preworkout with this product. Tastes great, especially with an unflavored whey protein before a workout. This product is very versatile, by itself or mixed with other ingredients. Love it. Energy is clean and through the roof, not like other caffeine products.

straight to the chase- if you've never taken a preworkout before and you are looking for a good starting block, Muscle Freak is a great place to get acquainted. On the label you see a pretty standard list of ingredients, with the addition of ginseng and a full dose of some vitamins that, lets face it, many of you noobs fail to get as part of your normal diet...so MusclFreak is a win-win for you already. The other positive is that, because you don't have a lot of other stuff in here, you can add things like Citrulline, Creatine, etc for an even better training session. So here's how it worked for me: I took it for approximately 6 sessions prior to writing this review. For me, each session was good. the first was the best. I had a strange tunnel vision thing that happened about 20 minutes into the workout, but it only happened that one time. under normal circumstances I would up the dose a little, but the vitamin content stopped me from doing that. The high is very clean, though, and it doesn't abruptly end. Muscle Freak mixes up decently. there's a little settling at the bottom probably from the ginseng. I would highly recommend keeping it swirling while consuming. Flavor- I'm not a big Fruit Punch guy these days, with all the new boutique flavors available. But PharmaFreak does a good job with it. and while it has a bitter twang to it, as long as you keep it mixed up you don't notice it right away. hence why I recommend keeping it swirled. it actually kinda reminded me of my high-school days sneaking MD 20/20 or Saint Ides Special Brew into the woods with my friends... I hope they start rolling out some different flavors as the product picks up steam. The profile is solid and would be perfect for people who are completely new to the supplement world who are looking for something that doesn't contain a lot of unpronounceable ingredients. So overall I gave it an 8 out of 10. if you're shopping for a preworkout for the first time in your life, certainly give Muscle Freak consideration. you get a lot for the price point, and it does give a decent kick.

Muscle freak has worked very well for me not as a preworkout but as an energy drink during long night shifts of constant lifting. It has a very unique profile for a preworkout. It’s not what I personally would use for an intense weightlifting workout but I’d enjoy it how I’m currently using it as well as an Intra drink. The other way I’ve used it a couple times is before a run just to get a little boost!

Muscle Freak is a nice energy drink alternative as it provides ample taurine, the recommended daily allowance of vitamins, and a hint of bcaas. While it clearly wasn't formulated to be a complete pre-workout, it certainly can become one once you add in 3-6g of citrulline, creatine & beta-alanine. The flavoring is like a lightly flavored kool-aid which makes it easy to drink & I appreciate it being naturally colored. The inclusion of the 3 different ginseng species was very smart but I'd dose them at 250-500mg each at least & the bcaas at 2.5, 1.25, 1.25g if this were to be reformulated. Overall, I believe Muscle Freak was intended to be a replacement for sports/energy drinks during sports or even work & it would need some of the aforementioned ergogenic aids to be included for intensive lifting.

PharmaFreak knocked it out of the park with this one. If you couldn't already tell just looking at the label, this product is packed with beneficial ingredients to ignite you training. What I love about this product is the multiple benefits that come with it - Vitamins, BCAA, Laser-focus, and energy! The product is a great addition to fuel hard training, and I definitely feel I have benefited from taking it. I am not a huge fan of the flavor, it reminds me of chewable multi-vitamins, but it is VERY drinkable - just not my favorite.

A great product that could match any top pre workout in the market today. Gave me a lot of focus and energy to last during all my workout and more... I used one heaping scoop and worked wonders for me. The taste was delicious and will recommend it to everyone. Pumps were great. Put me in mediately into the zone. I'll give 10 out of 10 for it's effectiveness. Everyone can benefit from so give it a try.

Muscle Freak is a recently released pre-workout from PharmaFreak, which I received a free tub of to review. As a pre-workout Muscle Freak is fairly simple in conception, but is also unique for its use of ginseng and intermediate stimulant level. Muscle Freak is sold in a 30 serving tub for $39.99 ($1.33 per serving) and contains 2.75g of taurine, 2g of BCAAs in a 2:1:1 ratio, 250mg of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine, 200mg of caffeine, 50mg of Asian ginseng, 50mg of American ginseng, and 50mg of Siberian ginseng. There is also a multi-vitamin complex component to the formula. Again, I find this formula unique for its heavy use of ginseng. I do have a proclivity for the caffeine and ginseng combination. I find the CNS stimulation to be especially smooth, strong, and sustaining; this was my experience with Muscle Freak as well. I also appreciate the intermediate caffeine dose. At 200 mg the product has some nice versatility and could even be two scooped for a ton of intensity. From an ergogenic and NO boosting perspective, Muscle Freak doesn't have anything to offer, which is definitely an oversight, especially at $1.33 per serving. I would like to see citrulline or an organic nitrate added to this product with some beta-alanine or betaine to justify the price per serving. This would make Muscle Freak a very competitive product, especially with the nice CNS stimulation it provides. Lifting and working out with Muscle Freak was a great experience. The CNS effects of the product are fairly unique from other pre-workouts because of the ginseng. The energy stimulation is really excellent and the focus is nice as well. Muscle Freak definitely ensures your mind is ready to push your body throughout a workout! From a performance (strength and endurance) or muscle pump dimension Muscle Freak definitely could use improvement. It doesn't enhance either dimension significantly. From a flavor perspective the fruit punch is good but isn't anything unique. It is a little tart, but in a nice way that increases alertness and isn't offensive to the palate. Formula - 8/10 Effects - 8/10 Taste - 8/10 Overall - 8/10

Fruit punch was a great flavor-and I don't really like fruit punch flavored supplements. So that says a lot coming from me. I like how this supplement had aminos with it. It's perfect for someone like me who works out in the morning (fasted) and wants some aminos beforehand. Gave me plenty of energy to get through my workouts as well. The only reason I rated this a 9 is I would have liked to see "pump" ingredients such as citrulline. That being said, this was a great pre workout. I felt good knowing I was getting some aminos with my pre workout. I've always wondered why companies didn't do that, and now PharmaFreak has!

Tastes very good... almost like a tropical fruit punch. The powder dissolves excellent and gives you non-jittery energy. Love it.
